$9,500,000.00 Medical Malpractice - Permanent, Vegetative State
A 29 year-old woman, who was newly married with a Masters Degree, presented to the emergency room by ambulance with symptoms of headache, weakness, confusion, and dizziness. She was seen in the ER Department by various healthcare providers. Various tests were performed including a CT Scan of the brain. Later our client was admitted to the hospital floor when her condition continued to deteriorate. The next day our client suffered a massive ischemic stroke leaving her in a permanent vegetative state.
