5-Vehicle Car Accident in North Lakeland
Lakeland, Florida. A five car pileup accident has occurred on U.S. Highway 98 North near the Sam's Club. Rescue crews and police are working to help the injured. Two people were thrown from vehicles and another person was trapped as reported by the Lakeland Ledger. The accident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. There was an incorrect initial report that one vehicle was a school bus.
