Deadly Accident in Tampa February 18, 2010
February 18, 2010. One person killed with two others injured in a single-car crash in Tampa. Tampa police reported a 2005 Nissan Altima traveling at a high rate of speed experienced tire failure when swerving to avoid another vehicle. The car hit a utility pole, bench, and a tree. Two people were ejected as the car rolled and flipped. One man was killed at the scene. Another man was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The third victim, a woman, was hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
